Security Finance donates $250,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Responder Program.
Security Finance is a long-time partner with the Red Cross, believing strongly in the work the Red Cross does across the nation. In being a champion of community support, Security Finance gives back to those suffering from unexpected hardship. As a member of the Disaster Responder Program, Security Finance is honored to assist in providing vital support to communities on a national scale.
The Disaster Responder Program provides support to communities afflicted by all types of events, from hurricanes to home fires. Security Finance’s annual donation helps fund essential resources to these communities, including shelter, hot meals, recovery resources, and more (redcross.org).
“We count on Disaster Responder members like Security Finance because they understand the importance of being prepared before a disaster strikes so we can respond immediately,” said Anne McKeough, Chief Development Officer at the American Red Cross. “We’re extremely grateful for Security Finance’s donation, which will help ensure we can continue to build our capacity and resources ahead of time, keep up with the pace of frequent disasters and assist people in their darkest hours.”
Security Finance not only focuses on large-scale support, but is dedicated to reinvesting in local communities. Security’s Lending Hand Foundation frequently contributes to: Chapman Cultural Center, Spartanburg Humane Society, Hope Center for Children, Salvation Army of Spartanburg, Spartanburg Soup Kitchen, Mobile Meals, Spartanburg Methodist College, and the Spartanburg Area Conservatory. Security Finance is a proud member of the Spartanburg community, as well as hundreds of other communities in 11 states.
