Meet the President...

The firm was founded in 1988 by Tony Smith, President, in response to the acute need within the industry for qualified assistance and representation for the small and medium size alarm dealer.

Tony has an extensive background in the security industry. He entered the alarm industry in 1980 where he consolidated a large number of accounts and subsequently sold them to a national company in 1987. Three years later he had consolidated another sizeable group of accounts and sold them to another national company. He then continued to work as an acquisitions consultant for a variety of small and medium sized companies who wished to sell or buy alarm accounts.

Tony Smith is a past President of the California Alarm Association (CAA), past member of the Board of Directors of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), and a founder of Greater Los Angeles Security Alarm Association (GLASSA).

Tony's other prior experience was as the CEO of a major cable television operator; CFO of the western division of a worldwide communications company; and manager of a regional CPA firm. Over the last few years he has authored several articles for industry trade journals
